Last week was the first time I had met our site manager Mark in person. And, despite being almost six months into the build, was also the first time I saw the inside of the build. It was just something that I never got around to, and as the exterior was making good progress, not really something that I felt compelled to do.
Barring a couple of final touches like finishing off the down pipes and installing the lower roof, garage door and front door, the exterior is all but done.
The interior linings (i.e. gyprock) will go up soon after the frame inspection is complete some time in the next couple of weeks.
This was also the first time that I saw how the back of the house looks. My goodness those void windows are BIG!
