While on a run to fight the inherently sedentary lifestyle that has been forced upon us by COVID-19, I came across a rather peculiar sight:

Don’t get me wrong, there isn’t anything peculiar about gyprock being delivered to a building site. But what was curious was the size of the sheets vs the window they were trying to get it through.
It just didn’t look like it was going to fit.
I was out front for a while and couldn’t see anyone, which suggested to me that the delivery guy and the window were at a stalemate.
These other shots might give a better aspect of what I mean.
I really hope there isn’t any inadvertent damage to that window itself. Of course, Eden Brae and their contractors would be obliged to fix any damage, but I simply don’t want any delays or any slightly compromised workmanship that often accompanies repairs rather than a fresh build or installation.
I’m sure they found a way to deliver the gyprock in the end. Ultimately, they simply have to. Even if it means carrying up each individual sheet to the first floor.
