The final element of our facade was installed this week: the Juliet balconies.

Or perhaps more accurately, the Juliet balustrades. There is no balcony in any way shape or form. They are a purely decorative balustrade. But they are a decorative addition that took Annie’s breath away.
She absolutely loves them.
Hopefully the dark of the balustrades will go nicely with our soon-to-be black front door.
The other detail that has changed was the colour of the render. I had initially thought that the colour we had had up until this week was Dune (the colour we had chosen). But perhaps that was only one coat of Dune over a white undercoat and therefore was literally a pale limitation of what Dune actually looks like.
Irrespective of which colour is actually Dune, I am digging this latest shade and look forward to the rest of the facade being completed.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait long for that.
Looks amazing Bruce!

Thanks! Hopefully it is on the right side of fairy tale vs Disney (to borrow a turn of phrase from James Treble).
